Telehealth

Telehealth (e-visit) allows providers and patients to interact virtually. This type of visit can be used for many types of visits such as medication refills, lab reviews, sick visits, mental health visits, counseling, and general wellness checks.

Technology and consumer demand are changing how and where healthcare is delivered. Telehealth is the “use of electronic information and telecommunications technologies to support long-distance clinical health care, patient and professional health-related education, public health and health administration,” according to the Health Resources Services Administration.

How Does A Telehealth Visit Work?

TelehealthNew Patients

Complete the new patient paperwork and email back to NewPatient@WindermereMedicalCenter.com, then text 407-250-9975 or call 407-876-2273 to schedule an appointment with one of our providers.

Established Patients

If you have portal access, you can schedule your own appointment. If you need an appointment outside of the times shown on the portal you can text 407-250-9975 or call 407-876-2273.

At your scheduled time, you will log-in to your portal with a device that has audio and video capability (phone, computer, tablet, laptop) and interact with your provider. The visit is billed to your insurance and you are still subject to the same deductible/copay/coinsurance you would normally be.
